NOW SCREAM
[ Brief ]
“Showcase the entire Scream collection on NOW. Make it jumpy and funny. Highlight key iconic scenes.”
[Idea 01: The Rules]
Characters listen to “Ghostface” talk through ‘the rules’ which we then see in vision being broken/adhered to, highlighting the meta and ironic tone of the movies.
[ EXECUTION 01 ]
Each slate is styled in a classic horror movie style, playing on the typography and a duo-tone colour palette taken from Scream’s iconic red black and white

The collection re-imagined and narrated as if from the perspective of a teenage ‘Ghostface’

We use an annotated notebook style GFX treatment to enhance the idea that Ghostface orchestrates everything that occurs in the franchise.

The idea chosen by the client was ‘The Ultimate Slasher.’ To squeeze in 4 films in to a 30 second edit we decided to use the slashing device and volumetric light in the opener and to slash between each title. This was a combination of particular, volumetric light and grade / styling on the relevant shots
[ DEVELOPMENT]
